We offer flexible hours to allow you to easily schedule an appointment for your child when it is convenient for you. As a bonus, we provide a few special touches such as watching a movie during treatment to make your child’s visit more relaxing and enjoyable.

Why A Pediatric Dentist for Your Child?

Pediatric dental specialists have an additional two or three years of training and are uniquely qualified to care for your child’s oral health. Pediatric dentists not only use the most advanced techniques and state of the art technology, but they are taught how to handle the different behavioral aspects of children, what makes them comfortable in a dental environment, and how to make it a pleasant experience for both the child and their parent. Pediatric dental specialists are also qualified to treat patients with special needs.

Your Child’s First Visit

The AAPD recommends bringing your child to the dentist for the first time by 12 months of age. At this first dental exam for your child, you will remain present in the office with your child most likely sitting or lying on your lap. This exam will be mostly visual while still evaluating the child’s oral and dental development. If any treatment is recommended, our dentist will provide you with thorough information on the treatment and next steps.
